In 2003, Proyecto Charanguero was founded by Alex Godinez as "a tribute to a different shade of Cuban music, from a Nuyorican perspective". Since then, Proyecto Charanguero has entertained and wowed dancers, musicians, and lovers of salsa music alike with their intensity as a unit, uniqueness in sound and powerful stage presence.
